The history of 'There is no Tomorrrow'
There Is No Tomorrow
I started developing the game since 2017. Back then I was inspired by games like 'Life is strange' to create a story driven game. After some time, I decided to add in more action gameplay to make it more interesting.
I got the inspiration from 'Last of us' for the action and stealth part of the game.
This is not my first game but my first 3d game. I was already a 3d animator so making a 3d game isn't that difficult. It does take some time to learn all the features of the 3d engine. Overtime, I have to keep changing the game because of the new knowledge that I learned.
In 2017, I decided to submit my game for Indie Prize competition and It got accepted as one of the nominees. I was invited to showcase the game at a convention center. My game didn't win but it is still a good experience.
So right now in 2018, I am still developing this game along with other smaller projects.
The game takes longer than I expected to do because it is quite a big game with alot of storytelling. I do feel that it is worth doing this game as a lot of people are showing interest in this game.
The release date is set in 2019. As for the price, it will be cheaper on Itch.io compared to Steam.
I just started being more active on Itch.io and I am going to be sharing more devlogs from time to time. :)
